So it had been in Amsterdam a very pleasant evening food and night life. It wasn't quite 11 when i had arranged for myself a brunch on the balcony (Rob was still deciding whether or not to rise). When all of a sudden, i hear familiar voices from down on the street. It was Michael and Michelle, and they had Achim in tow. Seems they ran into each other as Achim was driving into town.
Soon it was brunch, party of five... and brunch stretched into drinks and lunch and later. In the photo above (right), Achim is proudly displaying his 50 year old drivers license, which is still valid by the way.
Here's the gang just 5 doors down in front of Michael and Michelle's abode. Somehow, someone got to talking about riding along the coast and the next thing you knew it...
The train station rents sturdy World War II surplus bikes by the day. Before you knew it, we were all set.
This is fish country, and when we came across this fish stand along the bike path and the sea, we couldn't resist the fresh herring... Well, Rob was the only one who was able to resist!
