Michael and Michelle, our friends from Portland (whom regular blog readers will also know from such places as Fahrenbach and Zandvoort) tracked us down in Bruges.
Port reception on our back patio, followed by cognac (thanks M&M!) and a light snack of bread and cheese.
A stroll through town...
Vlaamse fritjes on the town square...

Hi Rob & Hans,
We have been following your blog for a while now, so we thought we'd try to actually leave a comment. Considering that this is the first blog either one of us has read, that's not bad. Looks like you guys are having a great time! In comparison our lives have been boring but very happy. The weather is gorgeous and we've had a few BBQs and enjoy sitting out in the back yard - watching a tiny baby rabbit. In another week, I'll be flying to Berlin for a very interesting sounding conference and a couple of days with my parents. I just hope I can stay awake for the conference since I'll be arriving Thursday AM and the talks start Thursday PM.
Love, Birgit & Ron
You even got the same table at that cellar pub. I'm impressed! And you did still use the piano as tripod substitute.
Hope you enjoyed Belgium as much as I did and have fun in Adam!
